Seaflower - 16

 When the massive gold doors opened it was too bright to see anything. The light was beautiful, and when the doors where fully open the light was still too bright to see into the room.  She walked toward the door like the light like it wasn’t there.  Tye made to move toward the door.

“You cannot enter the scared chamber!” One of the priest started to protest.

She turned around, “He’s followed all of your stupid rules.”

“But he is…”

“I TOLD YOU TO LET HER ENTER RIGHT AWAY!” a great booming voice came from somewhere behind the light.

The priest jumped. “But her companion isn’t of the priesthood and is undeserving to enter your holy chamber.”

“WHO ARE YOU TO CHOOSE WHO IS UNDERSEVERING TO ENTER MY CHAMBER?”

The priest cringed and stepped from the door clearing a path for them.  She smiled at Tye and they walked into the brilliant light together.
