*** A $100,000 reward that will never have to be paid***

New York. You have been seeing it everywhere in the news, the man hunt for two murderers. There are hundreds of law enforcement, blood hounds and helicopters from just about everywhere looking for these two men.  But what if the reason why nobody has found these men yet is because these men aren't on the run, they are hiding in the prison or maybe they are dead.

Two inmates of adjoining cells were found missing early Saturday morning. Naturally everything shuts down for a while as they start the man hunt.  When they checked the cells they realized that the inmates cut a hole in the back of the cells. They had to climb through a pipe climb on a catwalk, cut fences.  This sounds like a jail breakout movie plot my kids would talk about after watching other famous movies, something thrown together.  Something that might look good on paper, but almost impossible to pull off.

Even the Governor is calling the escape "an elaborate plot."  I wonder if there is something more to that statement.  Then later when he adds "Look, they could either be four miles from the prison or they could be in Mexico. Right? So you just don't know." He might be hinting at something more.

I would not be surprised if they were hiding in the prison.  This wouldn't be the first time I have seen someone try to get out of something by hiding somewhere obvious.  Not to mention all those jokes about breaking INTO prison.

With contractors working on the old prison 34 year old Sweat and 48 year old Matt could have had means to get power tools to aid in the mistake.  Not everybody has strict showing to have an easy check that all of your work tools are there and in place.

But these are two men serving life sentences, what if they were killed, accidentally or not and the man hunt is someone covering it up.  Having a man hunt is giving someone time to get rid of the bodies.  If you want to make the whole prison is in on it more plausible look in the direction of Mitchell.  How convenient that she became ill and couldn't be the get away driver. It is also not hard to lay a false trail for dogs to follow, the prison had access to stuff that smells like the inmates.

So I think, that 100,000 reward made someone smile if the person who offered it wasn't in on it.

***This is totally fake, I have a morbid sense of humor
