Seaflower - 13

 

 Tye knew his men would follow him anywhere, that wasn't a problem.  He walked to the hologlobe, looking at the ships location.  Right now they weren't on a mission of any sort.  They were just watching for pirates, recruiting when they hit ports and were ready for a job whenever it came.

At least as a captain of a carrier he would have an easier time getting more ships and aircrafts that he needed.  He had his fleet at his disposal, providing the Fleet Admiral approved.

"Boys, its time to go home."  Tye told the room, a few of them smirked at each other, Tye focused on the large island that they called home.

Home wasn't really anybodies home.  Its the large island that the world's Navy based itself out of.  It was in the center of the largest ocean.  They trained recruits, built and did major repairs on ships.  It is where different countries go to request services from the Navy. What the navy couldn't make on its own, countries happily provided as payments for keeping the waters safe.

A month later Tye was standing in front of his mirror looking at his uniform with a critical eye.  His uniform was, as usual, absolutly perfect, but that didn't stop him from making sure.  He was a highly decorated and hadn't touched his ribbons since last time he put on the uniform, but he still had to make sure they were in the right order.

"You look find you know." The goddess cam up behind him and rested her chin on his shoulder then wrapped her arms around him.

"I just don't know if I can presued him.  I don't have all the facts."

"Tyde."  She was in front of him, hands on her hips, head cocked to the side.  After a few seconds an evil smile played on her lips.  She kissed him, full of passion.  Tye had always been afraid to make a move on her, but he wrapped his arms around her.  After a long moment the kiss finally ended.  "Now you will be able to answer any question."

Tye just smiled, then when he recovered from the kiss, "Aren't you coming with me?"

"Yes but I have a feeling that he would listen to you better.  And I have been waiting for you to kiss me." She winked.

"I guess its time?"  Tye said looking at his still perfect uniform one last time.

"Your fine." She told him, dragging him out of his room.

All to short of a time for Tye later he was standing outside of the Fleet Admiral's office on the 10th floor.  Tye looked past the goddess to outside the window that made up the wall.

The first thing he spotted was his ship, the Seaflower.  Smiling his eyes scanned the ground.  There were recruits everywhere, marching, running, PTing or was that ITing... Tye looked at all the buildings, naming them off in his head.  Then he saw it, building 13, it looked bigger than he remembered.  Tye lipped a prayer and the goddess whose thoughts had been wondering looked at Tye Intently.

Tye realized that he had done it again and shrugged, she shook her head and looked out the window.

"Seaflower."  The Fleet Admiral called Tye by his ship.  Using military baring, Tye entered the office, followed by the goddess whose movement seemed to flow like water.
