Seaflower - prologue

             

   That night as he prayed holding the seaflower a necklace was placed around his neck from nowhere.  He looked at the silver chain and then noticed the amulet that had a single stone that was the same color as the seaflower and seemed to move like the water as the seaflower did.  Tears filled his eyes as he continued to pray giving thanks to his goddess for the gift.  Rather than going to sleep as he planned he put on his inspection uniform and started exploring the decks looking for the little girl to help her clan the ship and hope she would speak with him.
